Tribeca Grand Hotel

The high-profile luxury hotel in one of New York's most architecturally distinctive neighborhoods is designed to evoke the industrial ambiance of turn-of-the century Manhattan. On a tight, wedge-shaped site, the Tribeca Grand combines 206 guestrooms with conference facilities, a 90-seat screening room, bar, private dining room, roof terrace, and an eight-story atrium with exposed elevators and mezzanines.

The 8-story steel frame structure is set on piles, which were required to pass just 18 inches from the tunnel of one of New York's busiest subway lines. Like its sister hotel the Soho Grand, the Tribeca Grand features an unprecedented level of innovative finish work; echoing the features of the neighborhood's period buildings while conveying a contemporary style and elegance.

Custom ironwork, stonework, grillage and other details were all accomplished by subcontractors in a team of effort orchestrated by RCDolner.
